Robynne boyd

Environment Writer

Robynne began writing about people and the planet when living barefoot and by campfire on the North Shore of Kauai, Hawaii, right after college. Over a decade later and now fully dependent on electricity, she continues this work as a freelance writer.

Prior to freelancing full time, she worked with IISD Reporting Services as a writer, editor and manager covering United Nations environmental negotiations around the globe. She also blogged for Scientific American's "Plugged In" for a few years.

Robynne is still surprised to call Decatur, Georgia, home.
